Olga Loschinina: Antarctica
MyMicroGallery is pleased to announce from April 24 to May 7 2018, russian photographer Olga Loschinina’s first solo Milan exhibition Antarctica. The exhibit features 14 photographs that the artist created in 2015 whose main character is the antarctic landscape.
The traveling photographer Olga Loschinina does not limit herself to recounting places: with her photographs she makes the places convey moods and become living sculptures. In this new photographic series set in Antarctica, the photographer channels majesty and silence: ice and landscapes, boundaries in movement and archaic eruptions, dialogue with each other in a continuous story where realism is accompanied by graphic suggestions drawn by natural contours.
Together with the contemplation of the harmony of forms, one is lead to reflection on ecological issues. The subject of Loschinina’s exhibition is the intersection of pureness of the natural elements, ice, water, land and sky which simultaneously magnifying the grandness of the antarctic landscape.
Olga dedicates all her free time to discovering the beauty of the world with her camera. She traveled over 20 countries to capture exceptional nature, city vibes and culture. Her photos tell us a story of every city and person from a new perspective. Her photos design many homes and galleries. She is a perfectionist when it comes to her art work. Each piece of her art has its own special touch.
Olga stands out with her ability and desire to travel around the world almost all year long. She explored with photo tours areas in Europe, Africa, America, Antarctica, Australia and countries like Canada, Georgia, Iceland, Japan, Morocco, Israel, Jordan, Myanmar, Namibia, Norway, Nepal, New Zealand and Uzbekistan.
